I Know Why Caged Birds Sing #BookReview|Angelou series 1/7

“There is no greater agony then bearing an untold story in you”- Maya Angelou,  I Know Why Caged Birds Sing..

Maya Angelou was an American poet, memoirist, and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies. And this book is first of the series. This was published in 1969.

Maya Angelou, I love her way of writing. It’s so powerful. This book speaks her life. Her coming-of-age story, Of  her strength,  love , happiness and sorrow. Becoming a mother at age of 16.  And I will read the else, Insha Allah. It speaks how she overcame racism and trauma. Transforming into a strong young woman. It’s a wonderful book with strong speaking words!!

📖304 pages (may varies in different publications)
